FTC Cracking Down On Non-Consensual Geolocation Sharing

After recently cracking down on geolocation data being sold to health clinics, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) finalized a settlement with InMarket Media on a 3-0-2 vote over allegations the digital marketing and data aggregator company collected and used consumers' location data unlawfully.
